RHOPOINT IQ

RHOPOINT IQ is a handheld instrument for measuring surface optical quality, which describes how light is reflected from the surface of an object. However, traditional gloss meters can only measure the amount of reflected light and are not sensitive to the impact on appearance quality.

Surface texture can weaken the quality of surface imaging without affecting glossiness values. The two panels above obtained the same data using a traditional gloss meter.

It can measure gloss, haze, clarity, peak reflectance, and gloss meter curves at 20 °/60 °/85 °.
